Polyneuropathy (LPN) in Leonberger Dogs

 

The inherited Leonberger polyneuropathy (LPN), represents a group of clinically similar, but genetically distinct diseases of the peripheral nervous system. Together with researchers from the University of Minnesota and the University of California, San Diego - Comparative Neuromuscular Laboratory, we identified the causative mutations for three different forms of LPN and offer genetic testing.
